Revell Monogram 1/48 scale F-106X Delta Super Dart!

This is a example of a WIP work in progress post for those of you who are new to the scale modeling realm. feel free to post comments if you wish on the build, i will post each step to keep you guys updated on this un finished build.

the F-106X is basically your normal F-106 delta dart, but the kit will be modified, it will be retrofitted with a set of canards, and will have a Constant bleed Jet engine.

Instructions are typical of Revell, clear easy to understand.

some parts are not such a great fit, but bondo sealer and sanding will fix that.


instrument panel detailed nicely, instead of using decals i painted the detail myself, the decals where sort of cheesy..


cockpit assembled and painted without instrument panel, paint still wet a little

interior detailed you can see have been painted Chromate green


Airplane Fuselage assembled, canards attached.

i do not have pictures, but it is in its stage of the first coat of paint, needs a second coat and some other parts painted.
