Revell Monogram 1/24th scale Road Ace.. 1969 Corvette Roadster

the 1969 Corette Road Ace, is basically a 1/24th scale 1968 Corvette roadster kit, and a 1/24th scale 1968 corvette race car kit, with a different set of tires, and a special engine. the engine it models is a Aluminum L-88 427 "ZL1" Block, with special performance cam, carbon fiber push rods and roller lifters, creates 2,000HP+ at about 6,600RPM. the supercharger creates a large amount of boost, the engine also has high compression domed pistons and somewhat hemispherical combustion chambers, and piped exhaust manifolds "headers" "cop callers" what ever you may call them. it also features spray which allows more instant horsepower, but does not in crease over all horsepower, beacuse the tuning the engine has already is enough.

the axles are widened to give the car better cornering, and the skinnier tires in the front are replaced with wider radial tires to further improve cornering. yes... thats right, just beacuse road ace has 2,000HP does not mean she is designed just to go in a straight line, she is meant to go around corners, well at least the Corvette it would model.
